When I was writing my manifesto, I didn't remember why I felt such a longing for the old Internet and initially described it as "nostalgia for another lifetime".
This was originally a paragraph cut from it to avoid going too far off topic.
While writing the paragraph, I recovered childhood memories:
"...I opened up Internet Explorer and typed "creatures 2 cobs" into the search bar, my first introduction to modding. And since the Creatures community had its heyday before I was born, most of the sites my search took me to were made in the late '90s and early '00s."
